The plastic swivel umbrella adapter attaches to stands that have a 5/8" stud. It enables the adjusting of pan and tilt for a light and most importantly it has a receiver for holding an umbrella. The Holder has two, two-way 5/8"; female receivers on the top and bottom. Both receivers can be used either vertically or horizontally, whether being mounted vertically on a stud or horizontally on the arm of a c-stand.
